Delivering Quality Care in Dressing Changes

Only available in conjunction with Wound Innovations specialist services

To relieve the impact of regular complex wound management regimes and the pressures on finding nursing staff that are able to follow the provided Wound Management plans, Wound Innovations is now offering support in the undertaking of complex/high skilled wound management techniques.

Dressing Change Appointment

This service may include, but is not limited to, regular wound debridement, removal of scaling skin, redressing the wounds and the application of complex therapies until such time as this intervention is no-longer required.

All individuals that are initiated on to this service option must first have a full Wound Innovations Specialist consultation where our specialist nurses will advise the frequency of the dressing service and provide the management plan to be followed. The management plan will be reviewed at a full consultation once every three – four weeks, as advised by our specialists to ensure a full holistic assessment has been undertaken and the dressing regime revised if required.

Following each appointment:

As this service is primarily focused on the completion of a specific wound management regime (outlined within a previous Wound Innovations report) only an acknowledgement letter will be provided shortly after the visit.

  • Dressings are not included in the above service. Dressings should be available for our clinical team on arrival.
  • If you are unable to source required consumables these can be ordered directly through Wound Innovations if required. Please contact head office if you require assistance.

PRICing STRUCTURE:

  • Dressing change appointments are charged at $140 + GST per patient, per appointment.

** Dressings are not included in the above prices. Dressings will be invoiced separately if they are required.
