The Skin Anatomy and the effects of Ageing module has been developed to provide all health care professionals and students with an in depth knowledge of skin anatomy and the changes that take place during the ageing process leaving a person susceptible to injury and trauma. The module contains information on:
- Skin Anatomy and the Effects of Ageing
- Anatomy and Physiology of the Skin
- Skin Changes with Ageing
- Maintaining Healthy Skin
The Skin Anatomy and the effects of Ageing module is suitable for students and practicing health professionals wishing to learn about skin anatomy and is recommended for those working in domiciliary health services, residential aged care facilities, hospitals, wound or outpatient clinics and community health services. Access to the module is for 12 months and you can jump in and out of the course as often as you want, with each module remembering where you left off.
The Skin Anatomy and the effects of Ageing module is under review by the Australian College of Nursing and Wounds Australia Accreditation program for 2 hours of CPD.
